Pamalah MacNeily.

3 years ago, I rescued my first kitten from a high-kill shelter in LA.  It is hard to believe that in some shelters, cats are only given 5 days before they are killed.  I rescued about 10 cats personally.   In 2013, I met Patti Patterson, of

For Paws, Fairfax, CA and we started adopting out of her pet store.  We have continued to adopt between 70 to 100+ cats a year here in Marin County.

Down South, each month my 501 c3, helps facilitate 100 to 150 cats and dogs get out of San Berardinal Animal Control per month.  We work with other rescues and with local volunteers who are doing the courageous and heartbreaking work of rescue.

Success Story: Suzette
It was a Sunday morning and I was on Facebook, when a video caught my eye. Desperate, someone posted a photo of Suzette, a darling cat, lovingly looking at the camera, playing with a feathered toy.  She was on the top of the euthanasia list.  I could not fathom this beautiful creature being put to death.  I had to see if Pamalah could do something.  She rallied as she always does.  She worked her magic and with donations from Facebook friends Pamalah brought this lovely cat, plus 12 more, up from the high-kill shelter in San Bernardino.  Suzette's story gets even better.  I mentioned this beauty to a friend, who did not think twice.  She offered to foster.  All the pieces fell into place and she is now a permanent family member with her foster family!!!
