Pamalah MacNeily.

3 years ago, I rescued my first kitten from a high-kill shelter in LA.  It is hard to believe that in some shelters, cats are only given 5 days before they are killed.  I rescued about 10 cats personally.   In 2013, I met Patti Patterson, of

For Paws, Fairfax, CA and we started adopting out of her pet store.  We have continued to adopt between 70 to 100+ cats a year here in Marin County.

Down South, each month my 501 c3, helps facilitate 100 to 150 cats and dogs get out of San Berardinal Animal Control per month.  We work with other rescues and with local volunteers who are doing the courageous and heartbreaking work of rescue.

Pamalah MacNeily started rescuing cats as her father was dying in Los Angeles. She found out that LA Shelters gave cats 5 days once they got into the shelter and then they would kill them.  She started donating to groups who were rescuing and took on a foster, which she promptly became a foster fail with.   She took on 8 or 10 other cats that year which she found homes for.  The next year, 2013, she started bringing more cats to her home to foster and met Patti Patterson, of For Paws Pet Shop, in Fairfax, CA.  They developed a friendship.  They were both passionate about Rescue and together have been finding homes for 75 to 100 cats per year.
Down South, in San Bernardino,  Pamalah's non-profits have been facilitating the rescue of 100 to 150 cats and dogs a month.  Most of those go to other rescue groups or individual independent fosters.  This kind of effort takes the complete dedication of over 20 volunteers.
